Congratulations Rohith and Shivanand for their successful defenses today

Today, Rohith and Shivanand successfully did the master’s thesis defense at MEOB 301, from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm. They are the first students who receive an academic degree from Dr. Ryu and will continue their Ph.D. research at TAMU BioRobotics Laboratory.

2017 IEEE ICRA C4 Surgical Robotics Workshop Best Poster Awards Finalist

Shivanand and Rohith presented their research on Force-sensing Steerable Needle at IEEE ICRA C4 Surgical Robotics Workshop on June 2, 2017, and the research is nominated for Best Poster Awards.
