Dr. Ryu serves International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS, https://link.springer.com/journal/12555) as Associate Editor (AE) from March 2018. He has served as AE for IEEE RA-L (from Sept 2017 to Dec 2020), IEEE ICRA (since 2016) and ASME DSCC (2018).
